One notable feature was our private balcony, allowing us to unwind while the children played inside. We appreciated the family-friendly amenities, particularly the accessibility for our toddler. Having children under three years often poses challenges, yet the hotel provided a welcoming environment for young families. The breakfast, while unremarkable, was sufficient to start our day before exploring the charming town of Velden. A highlight of our trip was a delightful swim at the nearby Saissersee, just a short drive away. The clean waters and scenic surroundings made it a perfect family outing. I recommend Gasthof Thomann to families desiring a homey atmosphere while exploring the beauty of Velden.
